Denise Shostek Wins Scholarship Award

National University of Health Sciences has awarded Denise Shostek of Glen Ellyn the Alumni Association scholarship. Denise is a doctor of chiropractic student at NUHS, which has one of the most rigorous academic programs in the field.

Scholarships at NUHS are comprised of a variety of memorial, corporate, alumni, and university sponsored awards. Awards often have essay and GPA requirements as well as additional eligibility criteria.

"We are very proud of Denise, and hope that this scholarship will help Denise continue to be a successful student and a future leader as a health care professional," says NUHS President Joseph Stiefel.

NUHS offers graduate degrees in chiropractic, naturopathic medicine, oriental medicine and acupuncture. It also offers undergraduate programs in biomedical science and massage therapy. With degree programs in both suburban Chicago and St. Petersburg, Florida, the university has graduated leaders in natural medicine for over 100 years.
