Ecktor Barrientos Receives Associate of Applied Science Degree in Massage Therapy from the College of Allied Health Sciences at National University of Health Sciences

Ecktor Barrientos of Berwyn received the Associate of Applied Science degree in Massage Therapy from the College of Allied Health Sciences at National University of Health Sciences during its commencement ceremony on August 15th, 2013. Ecktor also worked as an intern in the university's on-campus integrative medical clinic.

National University's massage therapy program provides intensive training for future massage professionals, preparing them to work in a wide variety of medical and non-medical venues, such as hospitals, nursing homes, integrative medical clinics, sports teams, spas and private practice.

"I am proud that Ecktor has earned this important two-year degree. Many of our massage graduates go on to advanced health care degrees, or set new standards of excellence in their massage profession," says NUHS President Joseph Stiefel.
